Job Description:

Location: Northwestern Ohio, the second largest city in Northwest Ohio and one of few in the region where the population is currently growing. About 47 miles south of Toledo, 108 miles north of Dayton, and 137 miles west of Akron. Facility:

• A major hospital in the region, providing a wide range of medical services to the community and surrounding areas
• Level II Special Care Nursery 32 weeks+, 1000 deliveries/yearOpportunity:
  • 24-hour OB care, 7 shifts/block
  • Additional shifts available if interested
  • Scheduled C-sections
  • Consults only for gynecology
  • Non-emergent surgeries as needed, surgical team on-call to assist
  • Facilitate transfers
  • Oversight of midwives
  • ED unassigned obstetrics patients
  • 24-hour in-house pediatric hospitalist service
  • One delivering hospital, sleep room on floor
  • Remote attendance for high-risk meetings
  • Integrated EMR with Cerner throughout health system
