YOUR ROLE
Responsible for creating, documenting, developing and implementing
procedures to improve efficiency in overall processes.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Assist in the development of logistics and supply chain solutions
for new and existing customers.
- Work as a member of the Operating/Logistics Solutions team to
develop solutions and opportunities to generate new business
opportunities as well as to increase value opportunities. Identify
value to the customer and/or contract.
- Design and process mapping; including material and information
flows. Define business requirements and document comparison of
current system capabilities to business requirements. Analyze
existing and new business processes.
- Serve in a project management role and support projects from
concept to implementation.
- Provide training of processes to operators, LS team members and
other staff as required.
- Visit customer sites to gather information and assist in
operational implementations.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business,
Engineering, Logistics or equivalent experience in Logistics. At
least three years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and
job specific software applications. Developed skills in process
re-engineering/mapping, supply chain concepts, information
technology and business development.
- Characteristics: Ability to prepare articles, abstracts,
journals, editorials, manuals and critiques. High degree of logic,
initiative, self-organization and creativity. Developed
interpersonal and communication skills. Good presentation
skills.
This position requires travel, sometimes requiring extended stays
in other cities during launch periods .
